View serviceThe flagship
Most setups fix the bike or the rider. We do both, together, on your trail.
Ergon fit, integrated
A proper ergonomic fit with the Ergon MTB Expert system, built around your suspension, not bolted on after.
Data-verified tuning
We tune with ShockWiz data, not guesswork. Every change is measured, and every measurement is repeatable.
Proven on your trail
Sag, spring rate, and the balance between front and rear, ridden and confirmed on your local trail before you leave.
How to choose
Match the service to where you are in the process.
- Trailhead Fit + Suspension Setup if you already own the bike and want it properly set up, front to back, on your local trail
- Suitability Assessment if you are deciding between options before buying and want an honest read on a specific bike
- Trailhead Bike Fit if comfort or pain is the primary issue and you want the fit sorted before committing to the full setup
- Inspection & Purchase Handling if you are ready to buy but cannot inspect the bike in person
- Coaching From October if the bike is set up and you want to improve how you ride it
Not sure which applies? The Suitability Assessment is the lowest-commitment starting point. It does not funnel you into anything.
The next step
The bike set up. And you set up to ride it.
The suspension setup makes the bike work better. Coaching makes you work better with it. From October you can book coaching on its own, or bundle it with the bike fit & suspension setup and do it all together.
Coaching · GSMBC Level 1
1-on-1 from $179
2 hour session · $85 per extra hour
Private groups from $85 per head, up to four riders.
Bike + Body bundle
$449
Suspension Setup + 1-on-1 Coaching
The full session and the coaching to use it, together.

FAQ
What these services are not
Modern Savage is not a bike shop, a courier, or a content brand. There are no products to sell you, no affiliate links, and no commission earned on your decisions. These services are independent, scoped, and rider-side. The only thing we earn from is the work we do for you directly.
One item means one booking
Each service covers one primary bike or one session unless explicitly agreed otherwise. If you need multiple bikes assessed or multiple sessions run, include that in your request and we will confirm feasibility and scope before anything proceeds.

The goal is the right job, done properly. Not the biggest invoice.
