Most second-hand bike purchases involve $3,000–$12,000 changing hands. This service exists to offer buyers independent peace of mind — so the transaction can proceed with confidence.

In-person inspections for Adelaide metro listings and scheduled regional inspection windows.

A time-sensitive, in-person inspection for bikes located within the Adelaide metropolitan area or within a scheduled regional inspection window.

This option exists for buyers who need an inspection handled quickly where the bike is realistically accessible by us.

If the listing is within the Adelaide metro area — or within a currently announced regional inspection window (see operating areas) (e.g. Bright, VIC, Oct 7–12) — you can book a local inspection directly here rather than submitting a request first.

This is the same inspection service — not a cut-down version — with availability limited to nearby, metro-based listings we can realistically access within a rapid timeframe.

What's Included

• In-person inspection of one specific bike
• Condition assessment focused on wear, damage signals, and listing accuracy
• Photos and notes, with video where practical
• Plain-English risk context and a clear recommendation
  (proceed / proceed with trade-offs / walk away)

Important Boundaries

This booking option is only suitable when one of the following are true:

• The bike is located within the Adelaide metropolitan area
• The bike is located within a currently announced regional inspection window

AND:

• The inspection is time-sensitive
• Access and timing can be confirmed promptly with the seller

Listings located outside these areas — including regional, satellite, or surrounding towns — are not suitable for this option.

If these conditions aren't met, the order will be refunded and you'll be redirected to the standard inspection request process.

What Happens After Checkout

After checkout, you'll receive a link to complete the inspection request form so we can confirm:

• Seller access
• Timing
• Exact location

Once confirmed, the inspection is scheduled.

Purchase Handling Options

Purchase handling (being present for payment and taking custody of the bike) can be handled on the same visit when timing allows, or as a separately priced, distance-based return visit at a later date.

The inspection itself is never charged twice.
